Abstract:
A yarn-supplying apparatus and a yarn-supplying apparatus system are disclosed. The yarn-supplying apparatus is capable of preventing undesired movement of a yarn guide arm and actuating a movable blade for cutting a yarn end in coordination with the movement of a yarn guide member. The yarn-supplying apparatus system is capable of circulatingly moving selection means, such as a single actuator, between the yarn-supplying apparatuses. A yarn-supplying apparatus (1) in a knitting machine is characterized in that the apparatus comprises yarn guide members (17), an intervention member (4) such as a selector, and a lock mechanism (40) capable of, when one of the yarn guide members (17) is advanced in the locus of a yarn guide arm-moving cam by selection means (25) such as an actuator through the intervention member (4), fixing a condition where the yarn guide member (17) is being advanced in the locus of the yarn guide arm-moving cam.
