Abstract:
The present invention belongs to the technical field of wind power generation, and disclosed is a yaw motor. The objective of the present invention is to overcome the defect in which a brake in an existing yaw motor easily heats up and is faulty. The yaw motor comprises a housing, and a rotary shaft capable of rotating relative to the housing is provided inside of the housing. The yaw motor is characterized in that a brake is provided between the housing and the rotary shaft, the brake is fixed onto the housing and braking can be applied to the rotary shaft, a temperature sensor is provided on the brake, the temperature sensor is connected to a processor, and the processor is connected to a prompt device. With regards to the yaw motor provided in the present invention, since a temperature sensor is provided on a brake, the temperature of the brake can be detected so as to prompt an operator, and enable the operator to employ a corresponding measure according to the temperature of the brake.
