Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a composition that has heat resistance enabling usage as a hydrocarbon adsorbent, and that causes hydrocarbons to detach gradually therefrom in response to an increase in temperature. This composition is characterized by containing an alkali metal and a zeolite having a YFI structure and is characterized in that the contained amount of the alkali metal is 1-40 mass% with respect to 100 mass% of the composition, and the contained amount of the zeolite having the YFI structure is 99-60 mass% with respect to 100 mass% of the composition.
