Abstract:
A zinc-based desulfurizing agent formed by a spray drying method of the present invention removes sulfur components from a synthetic gas produced by gasification of fuel containing carbon, wherein the zinc-based desulfurizing agent is prepared by making a slurry from a solid desulfurizing agent material and forming the slurry by a spray drying method, and the solid desulfurizing agent material comprises 30-60 wt% of an active component, 30-60 wt% of a support, 5-15 wt% of a recycling improver, and 5-15 wt% of an inorganic binder. Since the zinc-based desulfurizing agent of the present invention is prepared by forming and drying a slurry with a spray drier and calcining the obtained one, it can be used in a fluidized bed desulfurization process for removing sulfur components contained in a synthetic gas under high temperature and high pressure conditions.
