Abstract:
Disclosed is a zoom lens provided with, in order from the object side to the image plane side, a first lens group, which is closest to the object side, in which a negative meniscus lens is arranged with the convex surface toward the object side, and which has a negative refractive power, a second lens group, which has a negative refractive power, and which moves toward the image plane side during focusing, an aperture diaphragm serving as a main diaphragm, and a subsequent group containing at least one lens group having a positive refractive power, wherein, when zooming from the wide-angle end to the telephoto end, the interval between the adjacent lens groups changes, and satisfies a conditional formula (1), in which f1 is the focal distance of the first lens group and f2 is the focal distance of the second lens group. (1): 0.2 < f1/f2 < 0.9
