Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet post-processing device which uses paper-made staples for binding a sheet bundle and sets the binding position across a folding position to allow the staples to be folded together with the sheet bundle.SOLUTION: A sheet post-processing device comprises: a stacker section 35 for temporarily stacking paper sheets as a paper sheet bundle; stopper means 38 for regulating a carrying-in direction leading edge of the paper sheets carried into the stacker section 35; binding means 40 for binding the paper sheet bundle 100 regulated in position by the stopper means 38; and roller means 45 and a folding blade 46 for applying a folding process to the sheet bundle 100 bound by the binding means 40 at a predetermined folding position of the paper sheet bundle 100. The binding means binds the paper sheets with paper-made staples 60. The stopper means 38 sets a position of the paper sheet bundle 100 such that each paper-made staple binds the paper sheets across the predetermined folding position.
