Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable biting segments to be manufactured by quality of material that is easily bitten into an object and further to enable a washer to be light in weight.SOLUTION: A washer comprises a washer main body and spikes. The washer main body comprises fitting holes and fitting receptors to which the spikes fitted into the fitting holes can be engaged. The fitting holes pass through the front surface and the rear surface of the washer main body, flanges of the spikes are formed at one end of a shaft and biting segments are formed at the other end of the shaft, their sizes are set in such a way that the biting segments protrude out of the fitting holes when they are fitted into the fitting holes to cause the flanges to be engaged with the fitting receptacles. The spikes fitted into the fitting holes are pushed into an object through fastening of screws and the like and the biting segments are entered into the object. It may be applicable that the other end of the biting segment of the spike can be provided with an insertion part, and the insertion part can be inserted into the washer main body to cause the biting segment to protrude out of the rear surface of the washer main body. Screws with the washer use the aforesaid washer as its washer.
