Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a hard coat film excellent in adhesion to metals, pencil hardness, and scratch resistance.SOLUTION: An ultraviolet-curable resin composition is used which contains 1-30 pts.wt. of a (meth)acrylate monomer having a phosphoric ester group and 30-150 pts.wt. of (meth)acrylate group-modified metal oxide nanoparticles, based on 100 pts.wt. of a (meth)acrylate monomer/oligomer having three or more (meth)acryloyl groups. A coating film made of the ultraviolet-curable resin composition and having a thickness of 50-500 nm is formed on a metal or metal oxide thin film deposited on a plastic substrate.SELECTED DRAWING: None
