Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a helical broach that eliminates the need for means for fixing during a gear processing a material to be shaved and to provide an inner-gear processing method.SOLUTION: A helical broach 10 comprising a plurality of cutting edges 2, 2 is provided with: a helical groove 4 formed between adjacent cutting blades 2, 2 and helically extending in the axial direction of the helical broach 10 and at a predetermined helical angle β; and a blade groove 3 formed between adjacent cutting edges 2, 2 and helically extending in a circumferential direction of the helical broach 10 and at a predetermined helical angle α. In the helical broach 10, if the helical angle of the helical groove 4 is β, using the center axis O of the helical broach 10 as a reference, and the helical angle of the blade groove 3 is (90°-α), a relational expression of 0.5≤tan β/tan(α+β)≤0.7 is established.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
