Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reinforced fiber yarn cutting device that is a simple device, is able to obliquely cut a reinforced fiber yarn into successive lengths, and, moreover, enables oblique cutting at a smaller angle.SOLUTION: A reinforced fiber yarn cutting device comprises at least: a rotary cutter mechanism in which rotary cutters are disposed at arbitrary intervals on an outer peripheral surface of a rotary rotor; a fixed blade set apart from the outer periphery of the rotary cutter mechanism; and a reinforced fiber supply mechanism that supplies a reinforced fiber yarn. In the reinforced fiber yarn cutting device, the reinforced fiber yarn is supplied at an acute angle to the extending direction of the rotary cutter toward an empty space between the rotary cutter and the fixed blade. The reinforced fiber yarn is cut into successive lengths by rotation of the rotary cutter mechanism.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
