PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a communication mode from being changed in the case of re-authentication.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a power supply device configured to wirelessly supply power to an electronic apparatus. The power supply device comprises: a communication unit which transmits power and transmits/receives information in a non-contact manner; a holding unit which holds information representing a communication mode in a case where a communication is set up with an electronic apparatus when first performing authentication with the electronic apparatus via the communication unit; and a control unit which controls the communication unit in such a maner that a communication is performed in a communication mode based on the information that is held in the holding unit when performing second authentication with the electronic apparatus via the communication unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
