Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fitting type pipe joint enabling a pipe to be easily connected and an air conditioning system.SOLUTION: A pipe joint 10 comprises a joint main body 20 provided with a socket 21 into which an extremity end of a refrigerant pipe 5 is inserted; a nut part 30 fastened to an extremity end of the joint main body 20; an annular ferrule 40 for use in sealing between an outer surface 5a of a refrigerant pipe 5 and the joint main body 20 while being deformed to cause an inner peripheral side edge 45 at one end to be fitted into the outer surface 5a of the refrigerant pipe 5 by fastening the nut part 30 so as to fix the refrigerant pipe 5 and the joint main body 20; and an annular resilient seal 50 fixed in the socket 21 so as to seal between the outer surface 5a of the refrigerant pipe 5 and an inner surface 21a of the socket 21. The resilient seal 50 is fixed to an inner surface 21a of the socket 21 oppositely facing against a part where the refrigerant pipe 5 shows an expanded diameter portion due to fitting of the ferrule 40.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
