Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pulley unit which enables the axial length thereof to be reduced and which enables variation in tensile force of a belt to be suppressed.SOLUTION: The pulley unit comprises a hub, a pulley, a second cam plate, a rolling element, and an elastic member. The hub has a base portion rotated about a rotating shaft, and a first cam plate integrated with the base portion, and projecting from the base portion in a direction orthogonal to the rotating shaft. The pulley is supported by the hub through a bearing. The second cam plate can be rotated integrally with the pulley, and can move in a direction along the rotating shaft. The rolling element comes in contact with the first cam plate and the second cam plate. The elastic member is deformed according to the movement of the second cam plate in the direction along the rotating shaft.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
