PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for dry shampoos which exert transparency when absorbing sebum, and to provide methods of cleaning hair using the composition.SOLUTION: In order to solve the above-mentioned subject, the present invention provides a composition for a dry shampoo comprising (A) starch and (B) porous silica, and characterized by that the mass ratio (silica content/starch content) of the content of the (B) porous silica to the content of the (A) starch being 0.1 or more. According to the present invention, the effect that is possible to minimize the aesthetic demerit that the composition after use looks like dandruff is exerted. Further, the effect that is possible to effectively remove sweat, sebum and the like adhering to the scalp of the hair by using it in small amount is exerted.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
