Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recover rare metals.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for recovering rare metals from a chloride residue in titanium smelting. The method includes the steps of: classifying the chloride residue into coarse grains and fine grains; and recovering the fine grains. In the method, the rare metals are at least one or more kinds of metals selected from Sc, V, Nb, Zr, Y, La, Ce, Pr and Nd.SELECTED DRAWING: None
