Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a braking operation device capable of enhancing reaction force characteristics in an operation of a brake pedal without requiring a hydraulic generator and a power source and in a simple construction.SOLUTION: A reaction force applying mechanism 4 is composed of a first reaction force applying mechanism and a second reaction force applying mechanism. The first reaction force applying mechanism is configured by an elastic member 16 which generates reaction force with respect to tread force of a brake pedal 2. The second reaction force applying mechanism is configured so that the reaction force produced when the brake pedal 2 is stepped in becomes larger than the reaction force produced when the brake pedal 2 is retuned and the reaction force becomes larger as step-in speed of the brake pedal 2 is faster. The first reaction force applying mechanism and the second reaction force applying mechanism are arranged in series on the same axis.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
