Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a removal method of a cyanide compound in linseed processable inexpensively in large quantities, capable of suppressing acid value increase of an oil portion caused by heating, and removing efficiently a cyanide compound contained in the linseed to 10 ppm or lower.SOLUTION: A heat treatment method of linseed includes a step for heating the linseed and water in a sealed type container capable of storing the linseed and water, and having a steam discharge port, and for mixing and heating the linseed and water, while maintaining discharge of steam as long as 15 minutes or longer after start of the discharge of steam generated inside the container from the steam discharge port.SELECTED DRAWING: None
