PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging material for a rice processed food, facilitating taking out a rice processed food by smoothly and rapidly opening the packaging material.SOLUTION: A packaging material 1 for a rice processed food is such that: when deforming the packaging material 1 for a rice processed food along the shape of a rice processed food from one surface side to the other surface side opposed each other in the rice processed food, and in packaging the rice processed food, a label can be stuck to one area of an outer sheet 2 overlapped on the one surface of the rice processed food; the outer sheet 2 includes label overlapping areas 14a, 14b to be overlapped on the label when the label is stuck; and two cut tapes 4 extend in one direction so as to cross the label overlapping areas 14a, 14b, has crossing parts 10a, 10b crossing in the ends of the label overlapping areas 14a, 14b, positioned at one end side in the outer sheet 2, or the vicinity of the ends, and are arranged so as to be separated from the crossing parts 10a, 10b toward the other end side in the outer sheet 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
