Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer which can easily maintain a temperature of an apron.SOLUTION: This printer comprises: a platen which has a support face for supporting a printing medium, and in which plural suction holes are provided on the support face; an apron which is provided on at least one of an upstream side and a downstream side in a transport direction of the printing medium with respect to the platen, and has a transport face which the transported printing medium passes; a first fan which is provided on a rear side of the support face, and adsorbs the printing medium to the support face via the suction hole; plural frame members which support the platen, which are located on the rear side of the support face with a gap therebetween in a direction orthogonal to the transport direction, and which extend in the transport direction; a heater which is provided on a rear side of the transport face; and a wind shielding member which faces the gap between the plural frame members, and covers the heater.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3A
