Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect elements composing a circuit from a current flowing due to induction voltage.SOLUTION: A motor driver device 1 includes an H bridge circuit 3 for driving a motor 2 equipped on a vehicle, a drive control unit 4, current limiting resistors R3 and R4, and a switching unit 10. The drive control unit 4 controls electric conduction from a power line Lb to the motor 2 by controlling the operation of the H bridge circuit 3. The current limiting resistors R3 and R4 are provided for limiting a current flowing the motor 2 during a non-energized period which is a period when electric conduction from the power line Lb to the motor 2 is halted. The switching unit 10 switches state between a limit state in which the current limiting resistors R3 and R4 are included in the current path of the current and a normal state in which the current limiting resistors R3 and R4 are not included in the current path.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
