Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical communication optical axis centering assembly device in which when mounting a plurality of lenses in an optical communication module at accuracy of a sub-μm order, a position deviation occurring upon fixing a lens is prevented, and an optical axis centering assembly time is not prolonged.SOLUTION: An optical communication module is configured to: converge emission light from a laser light source to a plurality of laser light sources mounted in the optical communication module with a plurality of lenses; converge the laser light to be obtained from a waveguide on an emission side after being incident upon an optical multiplexer having a plurality of waveguides by one lens different from the plurality of lenses; and make the converged laser light incident upon an optical fiber, in which a lens position deviation after the plurality lenses are fixed is irradiated with a YAG laser to thereby correct the lens deviation. An optical communication module optical axis centering assembly device 100 provides: an external force application mechanism 150; and a laser light output monitor 140, and is configured to automate a position correction of the plurality of lenses after the lens is fixed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
