Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism which properly performs notification to a person responsible for consumable supply management in a case where replacement is performed in such a state that a consumable supply is left in a consumable supply container and a large number of consumable supplies is predicted to be disposed of in a printer such as an image formation apparatus using the plural types of consumable supplies.SOLUTION: A consumable supply management system connected with a plurality of printers having a plurality of consumable supplies via the Internet receives consumable supply residual amount information of an extracted consumable supply container and consumable supply residual amount information of an attached consumable supply container as signals when attachment of the consumable supply container is detected in the printer, and performs notification to a person responsible for consumable supply stock management when it is determined that the amount of the consumable supply that can be determined to have been disposed of is large enough in the printer by comparing with the past reception history of the residual amount information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
