Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power generation device including a piezoelectric film made of a polymer electret, and being capable of efficiently generating power by using low-frequency environmental vibration.SOLUTION: A power generation device 10 comprises a piezoelectric unit 20 and a weight 12. The piezoelectric unit 20 includes: a piezoelectric element 14 including a piezoelectric film 30 made of a polymer electret, and a first electrode 32 and a second electrode 34 sandwiching, in the thickness direction, the piezoelectric film; and elastic members 16 and 18 which are disposed on a side, of the first electrode 32, opposite to the side in contact with the piezoelectric film 30 and which adjust the resonance frequency of the power generation device 10 to 200 Hz or lower. The weight 12 is disposed so as to apply a load to the piezoelectric element 14 and the elastic members 16 and 18.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
