Abstract:
To provide a highly reliable nonaqueous secondary battery.SOLUTION: A nonaqueous secondary battery comprises: a positive electrode 10 including a positive electrode active material capable of occluding and releasing alkali-metal ions; a negative electrode including a negative electrode active material capable of occluding and releasing alkali-metal ions; and a nonaqueous electrolyte solution prepared by dissolving an alkali metal salt in a nonaqueous solvent. The negative electrode active material includes graphite having boron or at least having boron on a surface of the graphite. The nonaqueous solvent contains a chain carboxylic acid ester having at least one or more F atoms. The chain carboxylic acid ester is represented by the formula, Q-C(=O)-O-Q, where each of Qand Qis carbon hydride, and at least one of H's of Qand Qis preferably substituted with F; it is preferred that one of Qand Qis CF-CHand the other is CH.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
