Abstract:
To provide a Ferris wheel for enabling even a person on a wheelchair or an aged person to easily get on and out of a gondola of a Ferris wheel.SOLUTION: Right and left platform holding bodies 131, 132 are guided to front ends of right and left mobile bodies by right and left changeover guide bodies 191, 192 with the rotation of a rotational platform 36 toward a parallel position Q1 from an upper side of a floor surface 6 of a gondola 1. A guide roller 136 is abutted to the front ends of the respective mobile bodies 73, 75 so as to move the respective mobile bodies 73, 75 from a rear restriction position P1 to a front restriction position P2. The rotational platform 36 is held at a rotation position Q2 in the front restriction position P2. While the respective mobile bodies 73, 75 are arranged at the rear restriction position P1, the respective platform holding bodies 131, 132 hold the rotational platform 36 at the parallel position Q1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 50
