Abstract:
To execute EGR by dehumidifying EGR gas from cold time by using a relatively simple configuration.SOLUTION: An EGR system includes: an EGR passage 22; an EGR valve 23; an EGR cooler 24; a first EGR cooling water passage (each passage section 44, 46, 47, 48) for returning cooling water flowing out from an engine 1 to a cooling water passage 36 via the EGR cooler 24 to the passage 36; a second EGR cooling water passage (each passage section 44, 45, 48, 49) for returning cooling water flowing out from a radiator 32 to the cooling water passage 36 via the EGR cooler 24 to the passage 36; three-way valves 43, 50 for switching a flow of the cooling water to the EGR cooler 24 between the first EGR cooling water passage and the second EGR cooling water passage; a second water pump 42; and an electronic control unit (ECU) 60. At cold time in a warming-up process, in order to dehumidify EGR gas flowing in the EGR cooler 24, the ECU 60 opens the EGR valve 23 and controls the three-way valves 43, 50 to switch the flow of the cooling water to the EGR cooler 24 to the second EGR cooling water passage.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
