Abstract:
To provide a battery housing structure which becomes compact while improving a degree of freedom in coupling arrangement, and a battery box.SOLUTION: A battery housing structure 1 is configured by coupling at least two battery boxes 2 in each of which a battery can be housed, in the mutually same shape. The battery box 2 includes: a battery box body 3 of which an outer edge 28 is formed substantially rectangular in a plan view, in a container shape that is opened upwards; and a pair of engage parts 17 and 19 positioned in one-side paired apexes and a pair of engaged parts 18 and 20 positioned in other-side paired apexes in a virtual rectangle 27 enclosing the outer edge 28 of the battery box body 3 in a parallel state. Each of the pair of engage parts 17 and 19 and each of the pair of engaged parts 18 and 20 are supported in relative to the battery box body 3 at an inside of the virtual rectangle 27, and each of the pair of engage parts 17 and 19 of one battery box can be engaged with each of the pair of engaged parts 18 and 20 of the other battery box in a freely detachable manner.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
