Abstract:
To provide a control device which performs self-check of a relay capable of preventing erroneous determination of the abnormality of the relay, when performing self-check for checking welding of the relay.SOLUTION: A control device performs self-check of relays for determining whether the relays are operating normally by confirming whether or not a check signal is outputted as a predetermined pattern in each circuit state, as the control device performs output of a check signal by detecting current flowing in a control circuit at a plurality of places in the control circuit by bringing the control circuit into a various circuit states by operating the relays under a condition that a load device does not actuate, with respect to the control circuit having a plurality of pieces of relays for controlling power supply to the load device. The pattern preset to be used for determination of abnormality by the check signal is the pattern comprising places where the check signal should be outputted, places where it is not outputted and places where an output is ignored even when it is present.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
