Abstract:
To provide a hose that can be structured thin while keeping sufficient link resistance, mechanical strength, pressure resistance and corrosion resistance and a manufacturing method thereof.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a hose 1 consisting of an inner layer tube 2 and a reinforcing layer 3 which is formed in an outer periphery of the inner layer tube 2. The reinforcing layer 3 is configured by braiding coating linear bodies with each of which a coating layer consisting of a thermoplastic polymer is formed in an outer periphery of a metal wire, the coating layers are integrated at least in a portion where the coating linear bodies are brought into contact with each other, and the reinforcing layer 3 becomes an outermost layer. The present invention also relates to a manufacturing method of the hose 1 including the steps of: forming the inner layer tube 2; and forming the coating linear body with which the coating layer consisting of the thermoplastic polymer is formed in the outer periphery of the metal wire. The reinforcing layer 3 is formed by braiding the coating linear bodies in the outer periphery of the inner layer tube 2, the coating layer is molten by heating, and the coating linear bodies are thermally fused.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
