Abstract:
To realize an apparatus capable of more favorably reducing cost.SOLUTION: The video analysis apparatus performs decoding processing with respect to a plurality of frames of a group to be subjected to decoding processing among video data divided into group units composed of the plurality of frames in chronological order, which is encoded video data received from an imaging apparatus that photographs a monitored site, detects a moving object by performing image analysis on each decoded frame, and stores a group identifier indicating the group and detection information indicating whether the moving object has been detected from at least one frame included in the group indicated by the group identifier in association with each other. Here, when the detection information associated with the group identifier indicating a certain group indicates that the moving object has been detected, a group immediately following the group in chronological order is subject to the decoding processing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 14
