Abstract:
To allow air in a closed circuit type hydraulic drive unit using a sealed tank to be easily removed.SOLUTION: A hydraulic drive unit comprises a pump 12, a pair of supply/discharge lines 13a and 13b, a valve block 40, a sealed tank 17, a suction line 24 for guiding hydraulic oil in the sealed tank 17 to the pump 12, a communication line 27 for connecting an air removal port 12d of the pump 12 to the suction line 24, and a gas-liquid separator 28 for separating air and hydraulic oil flowing through the communication line 27. The pump 12 is arranged vertically above the valve block 40 and the sealed tank 17.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
