Abstract:
To provide a robot arm that has high responsiveness in a manipulator system and can avoid various obstacles existing in a movement space.SOLUTION: A robot arm 1 has N degrees of freedom (N is a natural number of 6 or less). The robot arm 1 comprises M (integers), which is more than N, pieces of shafts (J1-J7) and N pieces of driving mechanisms, which are arranged sequentially from a base end (B) toward a tip (E). Each driving mechanism has at least one shaft, where degrees of freedom of each driving mechanism is 1. At least one of the N pieces of driving mechanisms is an interlock mechanism having at least two shafts. Operation of all shafts (J2 and J3) belonging to the interlock mechanism are related to each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
