Abstract:
To improve the operability of an image formation device including an image reading unit.SOLUTION: An image formation device includes: a first housing including an image formation unit for forming an image on a recording material and a recording material discharging unit positioned above the image formation unit for discharging the recording material; and a second housing including an image reading unit for reading an image and capable of being detached from the first housing. The first housing includes an installation portion on which a support member for supporting the second housing can be detachably installed. The distance between the recording material discharging unit and image reading unit can be changed by changing the number and posture of support members to be installed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
