Abstract:
To provide a development apparatus for preventing a reduction in image density due to poor circulation of toner in a development chamber, a process cartridge, and an electrophotographic image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: A development apparatus includes: developer; a developer carrier; and a supply member supplying the developer in contact with the developer carrier, and arranged so that surfaces of the developer carrier and the supply member may be moved in a direction including a gravitational lower component, in a contact part between the developer carrier and the supply member. The development apparatus includes: a development chamber for housing the developer carrier and the supply member; a developer storage chamber storing the developer; a partition wall partitioning the development chamber and the developer storage chamber, and having an opening where the developer storage chamber communicates with the development chamber; and a conveyance member for conveying the developer from the developer storage chamber to the development chamber. The conveyance member includes a hole through which the developer can pass, or a projection which forms a gap between the conveyance member and the partition wall.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
