Abstract:
To provide a further improvement technique in a working tool to and from which a dust collector can be attached and detached.SOLUTION: A hammer drill 1 comprises a body part 10, a motor 2, a fan 28, and an air intake port cover 45. The body part 10 has an installation part to and from which a dust collector 5 can be attached and detached, and a first air intake port 111 which is so provided as to be communicated with a suction passage of the dust collector 5. The fan 28 forms an air stream for dust collection which flows from the first air intake port 111 into the body part 10 through the suction passage, when the dust collector 5 is installed. The installation part is so configured that the dust collector 5 is attached/detached in parallel to a drive shaft A1 with respect to the installation part. The air intake port cover 45 is maintained at a closed position at which the cover closes the first air intake port 111 in the state that the dust collector 5 is not installed, and on the other hand, the cover is moved to an open position at which the cover opens the first air intake port 111 in linkage with installation of the dust collector 5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
