Abstract:
To solve the problem that, in order to remove a duplicate region in a recovery sheet into a waste box, a number of CD cuttings are required, which causes stagnation of the recovery sheet, resulting in lowering the productivity of a post-processing device.SOLUTION: A determination unit in a post-processing device determines a duplicate region in which the contents of a recovery-printed sheet after a recovery printing performed due to occurrence of an error which necessitates to interrupt a cutting processing during the cutting processing by a cutting unit and the contents of a product obtained by the cutting processing before the occurrence of the error, overlap with each other. A controlling unit allows the cutting unit to cut the duplicate region of the recovery-printed sheet in a size larger than that of the product.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
