Abstract:
To provide an automatic transmission which can suppress the disturbance of a self-aligning function of a planetary gear mechanism.SOLUTION: In an automatic transmission having a main gear change part and a sub-gear change part in which a rotating shaft is arranged differently from that of the main gear change part, the sub-gear change part has a planetary gear mechanism for inputting power from the main gear change part to a ring gear via a counter gear, and outputting the power to an output gear from a carrier via a pinion gear, a sun gear of the planetary gear mechanism is integrally formed at the rotating shaft, the counter gear and the ring gear are spline-coupled to each other, the carrier and the output gear are spline-coupled to each other, and a dimension of a clearance formed between spline teeth of the counter gear and spline teeth of the ring gear is larger than a dimension of a clearance formed between the spline teeth of the carrier and spline teeth of the output gear.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
