Abstract:
To provide a high reliable fully-impregnated rotary electric machine in which a stator coil is accommodated in a slot of a stator core with no gap between a wedge and a wedge groove and impregnated and cured with an impregnated resin.SOLUTION: The rotary electric machine is a fully-impregnated rotary electric machine that is impregnated and cured with impregnated resin after housing the stator coil in the slot of the stator core. The rotary electric machine has a wedge which is fitted in a groove formed in the vicinity of the opening of the slot to fix the stator coil in the slot. The wedge carries at least one of an insulating resin and a curing accelerator different from the impregnating resin on the surface thereof.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
