Abstract:
To make it possible to hold a magnet cover in a rotational direction when caulking the magnet cover and prevent a permanent magnet from being applied with stress.SOLUTION: The rotary electric machine includes: a stator; a rotor disposed on an inner circumferential side of the stator and having a rotor shaft; a permanent magnet provided on an outer periphery of the rotor; and a magnet cover which covers the periphery of the permanent magnet, has an open end on one side, and a bottom formed by bending an end on the other side to an inner diameter side. At a bottom of the magnet cover opposite to an open side, positioning portions of the same shape having a plurality of corner portions on the basis of the center of the rotor shaft are formed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
