Abstract:
To improve the frequency of cleaning a pickup roller.SOLUTION: The roller holder 40 rotatably supports the pickup roller shaft 31 and the conveying roller shaft 21. The roller holder 40 swings as a fulcrum of the conveying roller shaft 21. The cleaning member 50 cleans the outer peripheral surface of the pickup roller 30. When the roller holder 40 moves in a direction in which the pickup roller 30 moves toward the hand feed tray 8, the cleaning member 50 comes into contact with the outer peripheral surface of the pickup roller 30. At the position where the pickup roller 30 touches the uppermost sheet, the cleaning member 50 is separated from the outer peripheral surface of the pickup roller 30.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
