To provide imaging devices that generate images using light emitted by excited fluorophores.SOLUTION: An imaging device (100) includes a camera (114) and an illuminator (116). The illuminator (116) is positioned and configured to illuminate an article (10) through a tunable filter (108) of the illuminator (116) disposed along an optical axis (122) and capture an image of the article (10) through a tunable filter (118) of the camera (114) arranged along the optical axis (122).
