Abstract:
To provide a resin embedded with an analysis sample, which is produced while sufficiently preventing particle aggregation of a granular sample within a resin material to improve dispersion of the granular sample in the resin material, and thus offers enhanced analysis accuracy.SOLUTION: There is provided a resin 1 embedded with an analysis target sample comprising an analysis target granular sample 2 comprising particles having non-uniform diameters and containing a plurality of types of single molecules and/or compounds, and a resin material 3 having the granular sample 2 embedded and immobilized therein. Particle diameter distribution of the granular sample 2 present in each of a plurality of observation areas in a cross-section of the resin 1 embedded with a sample is measured. On a scatter plot of particle abundance ratios of a particle diameter distribution in one observation area and particle abundance ratios of a particle diameter distribution in another observation area, respectively assigned to the vertical axis and horizontal axis, a cross-sectional particle diameter gradient, or a gradient of a regression line computed using the least squares method is in a range of 0.7-1.4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
