Abstract:
To enable information for preventing turning wrong way at each intersection to be acquired.SOLUTION: An onboard device of the present invention is mountable in a vehicle, and comprises: a storage unit for storing a scheduled route that the vehicle will henceforth travel; a position acquisition unit for acquiring the self-position of the vehicle; and a classification unit for determining the classification of turning mistakes that are errors relating to the track of the vehicle from a relationship between the self-position running off the scheduled route and the scheduled route, and associating the determined classification of turning mistakes with intersections that the vehicle has traveled down the scheduled route.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
