Abstract:
To provide a drum type washing machine which can shorten washing time by surely reducing unbalance in a washing tub during a dewatering step even when there is uneven distribution of laundry in the washing tub, and by performing the dewatering step quickly.SOLUTION: A washing machine includes: an input port packing for connecting an outer tub and a washing machine body which is a frame for sealing water; a proximity switch which is a hollow balancer position detection device in a drum where one signal generates every time the drum of the outer tub rotates once; a single acceleration sensor for detecting outer tub vibration; and a central control part which is eccentric position detection means for detecting an eccentric position in the frontward/backward direction, the vertical direction and the left-to-right direction of the drum. The washing machine takes a phase difference into consideration generating by a difference of the eccentric position in the frontward/backward direction of the drum, and calculates the eccentric position in the vertical direction and the left-to-right direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 13
