Abstract:
To provide a rotary damper for a washing machine capable of further miniaturizing the washing machine.SOLUTION: A rotary damper 1 is mounted on a washing machine 100 including a water tank 100A and a drum 100B. In the water tank 100A, the drum 100B is rotatably disposed. The rotary damper 1 includes a cylinder 40, a rotary shaft 60, a plurality of granular materials 90 and an arm 61. The rotary shaft 60 is projected to the external while partially housed in the cylinder 40. Further the rotary shaft 60 is rotated about a central shaft. The plurality of granular materials 90 are charged in a charging space S1 formed between the cylinder 40 and the rotary shaft 60. The arm 61 is extended in a radial direction from the rotary shaft 60 projected to the external of the cylinder 40. Further the arm 61 is rotated with the rotary shaft 60. Furthermore the arm 61 is extended in a direction crossing a vibration direction of the water tank 100A to be suppressed to support the water tank 100A at a tip portion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
