Abstract:
To provide a novel food additive material capable of improving palatability by increasing fruit juice feeling of fruit flavored flavor or fruit flavored food and drink.SOLUTION: Provided are: a fruit juice feeling promoter containing γ-octadecalactone and/or δ-octadecalactone as an active ingredient(s); and, further, a fruit juice feeling promoter containing a mixture of the fruit juice feeling promoter and oleic acid as active ingredients. By addition of the fruit feeling promoter, fruit juice feeling of oral materials having a fruit flavor is enhanced and palatability is improved.SELECTED DRAWING: None
