Abstract:
To provide a coil component which can reduce cracking on an element assembly while ensuring reliability in quality.SOLUTION: A coil component 1 comprises: an element assembly 10; and a coil which is provided in the element assembly and spirally wound. The coil has a plurality of coil conductor layers 21 to 23 and 27, and lead-out conductor layers 51 and 52 laminated in a first direction. The lead-out conductor layers 51 and 52 overlap a side gap portion 10a located outside a region, of the element assembly 10, surrounded by the coil conductor layers 21 to 23 and 27, and extend so as to reach an outer face of the element assembly 10. The element assembly 10 includes: a first stress relaxation layer 41 which comes into contact with the coil conductor layers 21 to 23 and 27; and a second stress relaxation layer 42 which comes into contact with the coil conductor layers 21 to 23 and 27 side of the lead-out conductor layers 51 and 52 while extending along the lead-out conductor layers 51 and 52, and which is located in the side gap portion 10a without reaching the outer face of the element assembly 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
