Abstract:
To provide a horizontal fixing device that is able to horizontally hold a side gate and a rear gate of a cargo bed without providing a special process for a vehicle side having a cargo bed.SOLUTION: A horizontal fixing device 1 according to the present invention comprises: an inner cylinder 2 having a first screw part 4-1 and a contact end part brought into contact with a vehicle; an outer cylinder 3 one side of which receives the inner cylinder 2 inserted therein and the other side of which is provided with a second screw part 4-2 set as a thread reverse to the first screw part; an operation part 7 helically engaged with the first screw part 4-1 and the second screw part 4-2; and an L-shaped member 8 one side of which is fixed to a second-screw-part side of the outer cylinder 3 and the other side of which is provided with a gate sandwiching part 9 for fixing a gate. A leading end of the gate is sandwiched by the gate sandwiching part 9, an operation part 7 is rotated to bring a contact end part 5 of the inner cylinder 2 into contact with the vehicle, and the respective positions of the inner cylinder 2 and the outer cylinder 3 are fixed, thereby making it possible to hold the gate horizontally.
