Abstract:
To obtain long-term controlled release effect of drug while suppressing the controlled release of highly-concentrated drug in early stage after filling, and to provide a controlled release device which can suppress side effects caused by blood transition of the highly-concentrated drug.SOLUTION: A controlled release device comprises madreporite 100 having continuous holes formed by communication of multiple pores, a drug and a polymer. The drug is kept in the madreporite 100 as a mixture mixed with the polymer. It is preferable that the madreporite 100 comprises an internal space and the drug is filled in the internal space with a condition of forming the mixture.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
