Abstract:
To provide a circuit breaker than can be downsized.SOLUTION: A circuit breaker 100 comprises: a stator 10 in which a stationary contact is provided; a movable element 20 in which a movable contact is provided; and a movable element case body 31 holding the movable element 20. The movable element case body 31 is rotated around a rotary shaft 32, thereby changing the circuit breaker 100 between an electrification state and a break state. The circuit breaker 100 also comprises: a base body 35 supporting the movable element case body 31 rotatably around the rotary shaft 32; and a leaf spring 40 one end of which is provided in the movable element case body 31 and the other end of which is provided in the base body 35. The leaf spring 40 is brought into a bent state under the electrification state, thereby energizing the movable element case body 31 in a direction of separating the movable contact from the stationary contact.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
